On This Day in Baseball History
In 1985 and down 3-2, the Royals won the Game 6 and eventually the series after this incorrect call enabled the Royals to continue playing in the 9th inning.
In 1995, Ken Bowersox threw the first pitch in Game 5 while in space.
In 1997, Edgar Renteria got the game-winning hit in Game 7 to make the Marlins the youngest expansion team ever to win the World Series.
In 2013, the Cardinals became the first team to win a World Series game off of a walk-off obstruction call.
Without any further ado, here is the first Astros quiz of the offseason! The topic is "Can You Name Every Houston Astro Who Appeared In A Game?" and the best part is somebody already made the quiz for me! I started off with an easy quiz to ease everyone in, but rest assured the offseason will be long so some of them will be much tougher and some might even end up being a bit easier too.
