Tiny series, tiny recap.
Game 1- Keuchel vs Paxton
You can never count this offense out because there have been some pretty great comebacks but the Mariners scored 6 runs by the time Dallas Keuchel threw his 6th out and the Astros scored 1 by the end of 9th inning. GIDP was the name of the game in the 5th, 6th & 7th. Astros were 1x6 with RISP. It was a shame too, because Marwin Gonzalez was playing like it's a contract year. Astros lose 7-1.

Game 2- McCullers vs LeBlanc
Lance McCullers Jr. seemed to have better command of his breaking ball than he has most of the year and pitched a good game until the top of the 6th & 7th. The remainder of the game Chris Devenski, Joe Smith and Hector Rondon didn't bring the best we've seen out of them but the offense made sure the get the W. Evan Gattis had a home run but the rest of the runs were scored by getting guys on & knocking 'em in one or two at a time. Yuli Gurriel is has a 12 game hit streak.
