*The Astros lost to the Marlins yesterday behind Chris Devenski's rough first go of it, allowing 2H/4ER in 1.1IP. A.J. Reed hit his first home run of the Spring.
*A.J. Hinch was getting interviewed when he realized he needed to pull Devenski. Rough debut aside, the Astros are still looking at Devenski as a rotation option. Hinch:
He's so versatile and so good it's easy for us to factor him in in so many different levels. He can compete for a rotation spot, he can fill in if we have injuries, or he can go back into the slot we know he's comfortable at.
*Francis Martes retired the middle of the Marlins' order on 15 pitches (and struggled a bit in his second inning but whatever).
*Dallas Keuchel should make his game debut in the next 10 days.
*Beyond the Box Score: Is Keuchel the cat or the mouse?
*Will Harris left Tuesday's game in the middle of an inning with groin discomfort, but is "fine." Hinch:
We were very, very cautious just because it was the first time. He'll be fine.
If you look under "Injuries" in your Astros-to-English Dictionary, you'll find that Hinch really means that Harris' groin detached from the bone and he'll return in September.
