All kind of quiet on the Astros front following the Winter Meetings, but let's see what's out there:
*ESPN's David Schoenfield lays out the case for why Jose Quintana is attractive to other teams (an exercise I undertook Saturday night) and says that Francis Martes plus two of Kyle Tucker, Teoscar Hernandez, and A.J. Reed - plus another lower-level prospect - would probably get a deal done.
*The Astros are one of nine storylines Ken Rosenthal is watching over the rest of the offseason, particularly in how they fill out their rotation.
*Marc Topkin writes that the Rays are seemingly asking more for Chris Archer than the the White Sox got for Chris Sale.
*Josh Reddick told his hometown newspaper about how excited he is to play in Houston:
It's a good young team that just missed the playoffs this year. It's something where I hope I can come in and get them over that edge. I'm really pumped to see where I'm going to hit in that lineup...They play the game the right way, and it's something I haven't seen in a long time from a lineup one through nine.
