Congratulations to the Royals and their fans on winning the World Series. Last year the Royals won the Pennant, this year they won the Pennant and the World Series. Next year the Royals are seeking to win the Masters and the Sprint Cup Series.

Ben Zobrist said:
I feel that eighth inning of Game 4 in Houston, I think that was the defining moment for this club. It was the first time I felt this club can win it all. Those things have to happen for you to win championships.
The more I reflect, the higher I rank the 8th inning of Game 4 on my list of Astros-induced heartbreak. It's not quite Pujols/Lidge, but I'll always remember where I was during that 8th inning (I-24, driving from Nashville to Atlanta) in the same way that I'll always remember where I was during the Pujols homer (our apartment in Abilene, standing behind the couch). I'm not ready to talk about it.
