Here are a few things with which you can destroy a Friday morning at work...
*HEY! Here's a plan that would turn CSN Houston into Root Sports Houston, co-owned by AT&T and DirecTV. The Astros and Rockets would be out as co-owners of the network, with AT&T owning 40% and DirecTV owning 60% of the network, but at least people would be able to see the Astros and Rockets. Of course, Comcast can object to the plan and drag this out until the earth crashes into the sun, but at least fans - however many are left - could begin actively watching Astros games in 2015.
*Jerome Solomon reacts to the potential deal.
*Interesting quote from Scott Feldman, in regards to Brett Oberholtzer (but maybe it's about so much more!):
He wasn't a real high pick so he's always had to outwork and outhustle everybody and just be a survivor. He's been doing a great job of that. I like that because I was the same way...you don't get the free promotions to Double-A and Triple-A, you've got to earn everything. He's earning his way and he's doing a good job.
(Ed. Note: OOOOOHHHHH)
*Jake Marisnick is feeling more comfortable with the Astros.
*Dexter Fowler will begin a rehab assignment with OKC today, and George Springer could be activated from the DL.
