With the first pick of the 6th Round of the 2014 MLB Draft (166th overall) the Astros select JuCo RHP Brock Dykxhoorn out of Central Arizona College.
Dykxhoorn is 6'8" 240lbs and won't turn 20 for another few weeks. He was drafted by the Reds in the 20th Round of the 2012 draft, but decided to attend West Virginia University instead. He transferred to Central Arizona after a year at WVU.

Dykxhoorn throws his fastball around 90mph and uses his big frame to create a good downhill angle. His slider has made great strides this spring, giving him a third average offering to go with his fastball and changeup.
