With the first pick of the 19th Round of the 2014 MLB Draft (556th overall) the Astros select C Ruben Castro out of Puerto Rico Baseball Academy.
Castro is a 5'10" 182lb lefty hitter and righty thrower; Perfect Game USA seems to have him listed as a second baseman. Information out of Puerto Rico is hard to come by, but the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy is of course where, two years ago, the Astros found another guy.
