Interesting note out of Astros camp today in Kissimmee in which we find that Japhet Amador - whom we last met when Jeff Luhnow told errbody last Wednesday that the Astros were not expecting Amador in camp this spring at all - could report by Friday.
There were just vagaries used in describing why Amador wouldn't be in camp, but we find in today's note that Amador's pregnant wife was ill. Amador's agent, Oscar Suarez, said:
We're talking right now. We're just trying to figure it out.
Obviously it sounds serious. Hopefully Amador's wife and baby are both okay - I'm not sure what there is to figure out, but since it's not my situation I'll just hope that everybody does what's best for everybody.
