Of the 571 ballots cast for the 2014 Hall of Fame class, 136 (23.8%) chose to publish their ballots. This is Problem #1. I don't like how the BBWAA voted, but let's give some credit to those who did allow the BBWAA to publish them. But it doesn't mean they can't be mocked!
*Jeff Bagwell was left off of 23 ballots that filled out all ten spots.
*Of the 88 published ballots with Bagwell listed, 13 of those did not also include Biggio. Nine of those ballots had all ten spots filled.
*Of the 105 published ballots with Biggio listed, 30 did not include Bagwell.
*50 of the 57 ballots listing Barry Bonds used all ten spots.
*Surprise! Whoever voted for Armando Benitez and J.T. Snow chose not to publish their ballots.
*Newsday's Steven Marcus voted for three players: Greg Maddux, Jack Morris, Frank Thomas
*Honorary Voter Joseph Hoppel voted for: Jeff Bagwell, Greg Maddux, Mike Piazza, and Curt Schilling. That's it.
*The San Diego Union-Tribune's William Center voted for eight players including Barry Bonds, Fred McGriff, Tim Raines, and Alan Trammell...but not Jeff Bagwell.
*The AP's David Ginsburg voted for: Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Mike Piazza, and Frank Thomas.
*Honorary Voter Lawrence Rocca's ballot: Jack Morris, Hideo Nomo, Tim Raines, Alan Trammell
*Honoary Voter Alan Robinson's ballot: Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Fred McGriff, Frank Thomas
*La Voz Libre's Angel M. Prada's ballot: Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Frank Thomas
*The San Jose Mercury-News' Mark Purdy: Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Lee Smith, Frank Thomas
*Danny Knobler voted for Bonds, McGwire, and Alan Trammell, but not Biggio or Bagwell.
