Tanner Scheppers' murder target Max Stassi and his brother Brock are participating in his annual Homers For The Hungry charity in their hometown on November 30, where they will see who can hit more (yep, you guessed it) Homers in 15 minutes. The project has raised $60,000 for 12 local food banks.
Within the linked piece we also find that Stassi has been doing "strenuous" workouts this off-season and has taken up boxing as a form of conditioning, so hopefully we'll get to see that hard work pay off in a brutal mound-charging one game next season.
(Seriously, though, good work by Stassi to give back to his community.)
