Astros hire Colin Wyers

The Astros plumbed the Baseball Prospectus line once again and hired sabermetrician Colin Wyers to work in Sig Mejdal's Decision Sciences department as Mathematical Modeler. Wyers will join BP alums Mike Fast and Kevin Goldstein in the Astros' front office.

Wyers was the Director of Statistical Operations for Baseball Prospectus, and is responsible for the development of BP's defensive metrics models.
