The Astros posted a 0.0 rating on Sunday's loss to the Indians, meaning there was no period of time during the broadcast where there were a measurable amount of viewers.
David Barron:
It was the first time in Houston, where games have been broadcast on
cable outlets since 1983, and perhaps the first time in the history of
Major League Baseball that an MLB game had no measurable viewership in
its home market.
The Astros respectfully disagree:
With respect to the Nielsen Co., as the (Chronicle) article points out,
there were Astros fans watching the game on Sunday. We appreciate their
loyalty and support. We praise the popularity of the Texans for their
success and acknowledge the impact they can have on the Astros’ ratings
as our season winds down.
So good luck with that carriage deal negotiation, CSN Houston.
