Yesterday, the Astros announced that they're shutting down Mark Appel, Andrew Thurman, and Lance McCullers. Is this the same thing? Foltynewicz threw 152IP last year, and has thrown just 128.1IP, so that's probably not it. He's seemingly not hurt, or he wouldn't even throw in relief. Could it just be rest for the upcoming playoffs? WE'LL SEE (which is "Blogger Code" for "I don't know, but I'll try to find out. Maybe. Unless I get distracted.")
