Recently dropped from the rotation (Paul Clemens will make his first ML start tomorrow at Chicago), Erik Bedard said he would not ask for a trade, but "wouldn't be heartbroken" if it happened.
ESPN's Rumor Central said the Cardinals and Rangers could be interested if Bedard is shopped at a "highly discounted rate."
So the question is: What provides more value - the cash that would come from the Cardinals and/or Rangers, or the ability to let Bedard slog through three innings in relief?
