With the 1st pick of the 31st Round (917th overall), the Astros select 6'3" 175lb RHP Scott Burke from Glendora High School, CA.
Burke is committed to UCLA. Here's some video of Burke warming up (possibly even being caught by 6th round pick Jacob Nottingham) . High school stats can be a bit suspect, even in today's day and age, but it appears Burke was 5-2 with a 3.45 ERA.
