With the 1st pick of the 21st Round (617th overall), the Astros select 6'2" 215lb Jon Kemmer, senior left-handed left fielder from Brewton Parker College in Georgia.
Kemmer is 1st team All-Conference and Player of the Year in the SSAC this year and has hit .366/.466/.717 with 12 home runs, 23 walks, and 18 strikeouts.
