It seems as though there are a couple of other transactions to report, from their own Twitter feeds:
Asher Wojciechowski, apparently headed from Corpus to OKC
Mike Foltynewicz, from Lancaster to Corpus
While both of these gentlemen were ready for the next level, you can thank the ineffectiveness of the Houston rotation (and injuries to higher-level players) for their promotion.
Wojciechowski, in 14 games at Corpus since the Toronto trade, has thrown 69.2IP, allowing 47H/16ER, 61K:21BB.
Foltynewicz, who could have started at Corpus anyway, pitched in seven games at Lancaster this season and suffered through a few bad outings but still managed a 3.81 ERA/1.73 WHIP (31H/11ER, 29K:14BB). Lancaster being what it is ("Coors Light"), I'm okay with the hits and earned runs, but the walks need to get under control. That said, in his first two "starts" of the season, Foltynewicz allowed 12H/7ER, 7K:7BB in 5.1IP. Which means that, in his last five appearances, he has allowed 19H/4ER, 22K:7BB in 21IP.
