I was at yesterday's stellar walk off win game with the usual suspects and late in the game Reid Ryan tried to walk past us to the front office seats. I say he tried because one of our group jumped from her seat to stop him. It was an impressive reflexive action, by the way. The result? The new president popped a squat with our crew and spent a half inning chatting with us - the fans - about his new role, how often we come to games and ladies night.
The long and short of it was this - Reid Ryan sat and chatted with fans. He was down to earth, kind as can be and willing to join us for one of our unofficial "Friday Night Ladies Night" sometime in the future. If ever a first impression gave you hope of things to come, this one did.
Can anyone picture a scenario - EVER - where the previous president would have done that? First impression of Reid Ryan? Outstanding.
