The Hooks defeated the Midland RockHounds (11-8) 6-3. The Hooks were down 2-0 after the bottom of the 6th but would break out in the 7th. George Springer (H, R, 2B, 2K) double to center field with one out in the inning. Carlos Perez (H, 2R, HR, 2RBI, BB, 2K) followed Springer with a walk. Jonathan Meyer (H, R, RBI, K) singled on a line drive to right scoring Springer and advancing Perez to 2nd. Rene Garcia (3H, R, 2B) singled to left to load the bases. Perez and Meyer would both score on a single by Jiovanni Mier (H, 2RBI, K). Michael Burgess (RBI, K) reached on a fielders choice that scored Garcia and advanced Mier to 2nd. Mier would be stranded after Erik Castro grounded into a double play. After 7 the Hooks were up 4-3, and would put up 2 more runs in the 8th. Enrique Hernandez (H, R) singled with one out in the inning. George Springer advanced Hernandez on a sac bunt. Carlos Perez would follow with his first homer of the year, a 2 run shot to left.

The Jethawks doubled the run output of the Lake Elsinore Storm (5-14) in a 8-4 victory. Lancaster drew first blood in the top of the 1st. Nolan Fontana (2H, R, 2RBI, 3BB) singled on a line drive to right and would advance to 2nd on a wild pitch by Frank Garces. Matt Duffy (3H, 2R, RBI, BB, K) singled to left with 2 outs, scoring Fontana. Lake Elsinore answered in the bottom of the frame with 2 runs of their own, going up 2-1 after an inning of play. In the 3rd the Jethaws broke out, scoring 4 runs. Matt Duffy singled to lead off the inning. Telvin Nash (2H, 2R, 2B, RBI, 2BB) doubled with one out, scoring Duffy and advancing to 3rd on the throw. Chriss Epps (2H, R, 22B, 2RBI, K) drove in Nash with an RBI double to center. Brandon Meredith (R, BB, K) would reach first after being hit by a pitch. Ryan McCurdy loaded the bases with a single to center. Nolan Fontana singled with 2 outs, scoring Epps and Meredith, and advanced McCurdy to 2nd. Fontana and McCurdy would be stranded. After the 3rd the Jethawks led 5-2 and wouldn't look back. Lancaster scored 3 more in the 4th. Matt Duffy led off the inning with a walk and advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch by Dennis O'Grady. Duffy would score on a double off the bat of Preston Tucker (H, R, 2B, RBI, BB, K). Telvin Nash followed the Tucker double with a walk. Chris Epps followed Nash with a double that scored Tucker.
