Oklahoma City (3-2) lost 1-0 tonight. Rudy Owens and Jose Cisnero combined for 8 innings allowing 5 hits and only one unearned run. However, it wouldn't be enough as the Redhawks lineup couldn't get a run across the plate. OKC only had two runners in scoring position all night and entered the 9th inning with 2 hits. Robbie Grossman singled to lead off the ninth and the Redhawks had runners on the corners with only one out. Trevor Crowe struck out and Laird would fly out out to the warning tack to end the game. Jimmy Paredes had both of the OKC errors of the evening. Jake Elmore had the only extra base hit of the game (2B).

There was much more drama in Corpus tonight as the Hooks (4-1) would plate two in the ninth to defeat Tulsa (1-4) 4-3. George Springer walked to load the bases in the ninth with 2 outs. Michael Burgess singled to right, scoring Ben Orloff. Burgess had 3 hits on the day including the game winning RBI. George Springer also had a two bagger to go along with 2 walks and a run scored. Domingo Santana was 0 for 4 with 2 K's. The Hooks left 10 on base.Jake Buchanan pitched 5 innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6! He also gave up a homer.Pat Urckfitz go the W after 2.1 innings of scoreless ball.

Quad Cities (5-0) remain undefeated after they put up 12 runs on 11 hits to defeat the Burlington Bees 12-2. Teoscar Hernandez, man crush alert, was 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and a RBI. Carlos Correa was hitless in 3 at bats with 2 walks and 2 K's. Chase Davidson DH'd and went 3 for 5 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Jesse Wierzbicki had a 3 run homer and a total of 5 RBI on 2 hits.
Joe Bircher pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, walked 2 and struck out 2.
Vincent Velasquez was perfect in 4 innings pitched allowing no hits and striking out 6.
