Not only did he jump for a chopper that was easily ten feet over his head, pitch through a dislocated pinky, and yell at an umpire over what he thought should have been a called third strike - but Paul Clemens also apologized to the umpiring crew for doing so.
Clemens, after the game:
“Let me take a second to apologize to him and his whole crew. I
apologize. It was just my competitive nature. … I took
the Lord’s name in vain and I apologized.”
