PreStros Farm Report: June 30


PreStros: June 30


Oklahoma City (46-36) 

In a strange game, the RedHawks outscored Memphis (STL) 5-0 in the first four innings, then got outscored 20-1 in the final five innings as they lost 20-6 after it was all said and done.

Brian Bass lasted 4.2 innings, giving up 6 R (1 earned) on 5 H and 1 BB with 3 K. Enerio Del Rosario got 1 out and was charged with 4 R on 3 H and 4 BB. Sergio Perez went 1.2 innings and gave up 2 R on 5 H and 2 BB with 2 K. Jonnathan Aristil threw 1.1 innings and allowed 2 R on 3 H. Juan Abreu allowed 6 R on 5 H and 2 BB without getting an out. J.B. Shuck took the final inning uneventfully.

CF-Brandon Barnes was 2x5 with 1 2B, 1 HR, and 2 R. 1B-Mike Hessman was 2x5 with 1 HR. LF/P-JB Shuck was 2x5.

Corpus Christi (43-35) 

The Hooks came straight outta Corpus to beat NWA (KC) 13-7.

Bobby Doran lasted 6 innings, giving up 3 R on 6 H with 4 K. Arcenio Leon threw 1 inning and allowed 3 R on 3 H and 1 BB with 2 K. Erick Abreu took the final 2 innings and gave up 1 R on 2 H with 3 K.

SS-Jonathan Villar was 2x3 with 2 BB, 3 R, and 1 RBI. 3B-Andy Simunic was 2x4 with 1 2B, 2 R, and 2 RBI. 2B-Jose Martinez went 2x3 with 1 BB, 1 HR, 3 R, and 5 RBI. RF-Drew Locke was 2x4 with 1 BB, 1 2B, and 1 RBI. LF-Austin Wates was 3x5 with 1 R and 1 RBI.

Lancaster (40-40) 

The JetHawks jumped out to an 8-2 lead after three and held on to beat Rancho Cucamonga (LAD) 8-7.

Zach Grimmet lasted 6 innings and gave up 4 R on 8 H and 2 BB with 3 K. Kirk Clark threw 2 innings and allowed 3 R on 4 H with 1 K. Andrew Robinson took the ninth with 2 K.

LF-Grant Hogue went 4x4 with 1 BB, 2 SB, 1 3B, 3 R, and 1 RBI. RF-Domingo Santana was 2x4 with 1 BB, 1 R, and 1 RBI with 1 outfield assist on a play at second. 2B-Kike Hernandez was 2x3 with 1 BB, 1 3B, and 1 R.

Lexington (42-37) 

The Legends gave up seven runs in the seventh on their way to a 13-8 loss to Asheville (COL.

Michael Foltynewicz pitched 6 innings, allowing 6 R (5 earned) on 6 H and 2 BB with 4 K. Nathan Pettus got one out but gave up 7 R (6 earned) on 6 H and 1 BB with 1 K. Mitchell Lambson went 1.1 scoreless, Dayan Diaz struck out the only batter he faced, and Luis Alvarez threw 1 scoreless.

DH-Delino DeShields was 0x4 with 1 BB, 3 SB, 1 R, and 1 RBI. 3B-Matt Duffy was 3x5 with 1 2B and 3 RBI. LF-Brandon Meredith was 1x4 with 1 BB and 1 HR. C-Roberto Pena went 2x5 with 2 R. RF-Justin Gominsky was 2x4 with 2 2B, 1 R, and 1 RBI. 2B-Ruben Sosa was 2x4 with 2 RBI.

Tri-City (9-3) 

The ValleyCats had more runs than hits as they beat Connecticut (DET) 14-5.

Vincent Velasquez went 6 innings and gave up 1 R on 6 H and 1 BB with 7 K. Brad Propst threw 2 innings, giving up 2 R on 4 H with 3 K. Jamaine Cotton took the final inning, allowing 2 R on 1 H and 1 BB.

Greeneville (8-4) 

The Astros bounced back from their 17 inning loss to beat Danville (ATL) 13-4.

Richard Rodriguez went 6 innings and allowed 2 R on 6 H and 2 BB with 9 K. Scott Zuloaga threw 2 innings, giving up 2 R on 4 H with 2 K. Jordan Jankowski pitched 1 inning with 1 K.

GCL Astros (6-5) 

The Astros came out on top of a close battle with the Cardinals, winning 3-2.

Raul Rivera threw the first inning with 2 H and 1 K. Michael Feliz went 6 innings, allowing 2 R on 4 H with 3 K. Juan Mojica and Erick Gonzalez each pitched 1 scoreless inning to close out the game.

3B-Darwin Rivera was 1x4 with 1 HR. RF-Wallace Gonzalez went 2x3 with 1 2B, 1 3B, and 1 R. C-Franny Polanco was 3x3 with 2 RBI.

The Astros won 3-2 against the Indians on a walkoff single by Arturo Michelena.
