In order to make room for Carlos Corporan on the 40-man roster before today's game, Kyle Weiland was transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list. In the linked article, Jeff Luhnow says that they don't expect him back on the field this season, so this move effectively ends Weiland's 2012.
We also hear over here that Jason Castro could/should be back in about a week, and Jed Lowrie is on his way back to Houston for further examination to determine how long he'll be out.
