In advance of the 12:05pm start in G36 at Philadelphia, the Astros still don't have a starter, and it looks as though rain is the issue. From 9am (Eastern time)- 12pm there's a 100% chance of rain, and an 80% chance of rain from 12pm - 4pm. If the game gets rained out, the Astros obviously won't need a starter. If they call up Jordan Lyles and send someone down in a corresponding move, and the game gets rained out, everyone looks like a cotton-headed ninny muggins. If they don't do anything, and wait on a rainout, and it doesn't get rained out, then they have to force Bud Norris on three days' rest and ride the bullpen. Oh, and everyone looks like a cotton-headed ninny-muggins.
It's not an easy situation, and the Astros are rolling the dice. There's a one in three chance that they don't look like a cotton-headed ninny muggins.
