The RedHawks continued their recent power surge with four home runs Sunday and beat the Aces 10-9.
Mickey Storey started for just the second time in his professional
career and went 3 innings, giving up 5 R on 5 H and 2 BB with 7 K. Juan Abreu
threw 2 innings and gave up 2 R on 3 H (2 HR) and 1 BB with 2 K. Xavier Cedeno
gave up his first earned run of the season while pitching 1.1 innings with 3 H.
David Carpenter pitched a scoreless 1.2 innings with 2 K. Jose Valdez got the
save with 1 inning pitched, allowing 1 unearned run on 2 H with 3 K.

Allowing a pair of extra base hits with the bases loaded doomed the Hooks as they lost 9-3 to Midland (OAK).

K. Henry Villar pitched 1 scoreless inning followed by Alex Sogard with 2
scoreless. Josh Zeid was charged with 5 R on 4 H and 1 BB in just .1 innings.
