The Hooks were able to overcome a seven run inning by San Antonio (SD) to pull out the victory 11-9.
Brett Oberholtzer stayed in just a little too long, finishing with
5.1 innings and giving up 6 R on 5 H and 1 BB with 4 K. Josh Zeid allowed all
three inherited runners to score and then got charged with three of his own to
finish with .1 inning pitched and 3 R on 2 H and 1 BB. Kevin Chapman got things
back under control with 1.1 innings, allowing 1 H and 3 BB with 2 K. Erick
Abreu and Jason Stoffel each pitched 1 scoreless inning to finish up the game.
CF/LF-Austin Wates was 2x5 with 1 3B, 1 SB, 1 BB, and 2 R.
