The Astros will be giving away these jerseys this Friday, April 20 at the Astros/Dodgers game. Notice anything? No Colt .45.
The Astros' twitter feed was kind enough to respond to a snarky tweet explaining what happened:
This was ordered in December when we didn't have permission to use the revolver...complete jersey in September.
Although, it must be said: To give away a jersey with just a wisp of smoke on 4/20 is ballsy indeed. Especially in Houston.
We didn't come out here to play tiddlywinks, son.
