Anyway, I am a lifelong Astros fan, with my awareness of the sport coinciding with the '86 playoff run. As such, my favorite players have always been Jose Cruuuuuuuuuuz and Mike "Scuff 'em up" Scott(ie). I was unceremoniously uprooted from Houston by my family shortly thereafter, but it was too late; I was destined to a life as a wandering Astros fan. I'm now in South Carolina, so my only chances to catch some of the organization's live games are to either drive 3 hours south to Atlanta, or catch the Legends when they come to play the local Sally league team, the Greenville Drive. You may have seen one of my recaps at another Astros site.
I am not a writer. That's probably already evident, but I feel I should make that statement clear. I'm just a guy that likes my team a little too much.
