Here's a piece in Sports Illustrated about a July 2006 deadline that would have gone as follows:
Houston sends Roy Oswalt, Morgan Ensberg, and Adam Everett to Baltimore for Miguel Tejada.
Baltimore sends Oswalt to (a) the Mets for Lastings Milledge and Aaron Heilman, (b) Rangers for John Danks and Thomas Diamond.
So however you feel about Ed Wade, he's not Tim Purpura.
