It was bound to happen. The unluckiest player in all of baseball (J.R. Towles, natch) has been optioned to OKC to make room for Humberto Quintero.
Towles had the lowest BABIP (.189) in the Majors among players with 140+ PAs, and just couldn't buy a hit.
