What will Jeff Bagwell’s presence back in the clubhouse mean to this franchise? I think it’s huge. Since the days of Bagwell, Biggio and Ausmus, the leadership role and old school clubhouse camaraderie has severely lacking. Miguel Tejada kept it together for a little while but it just hasn’t been the same. I actually credit this year’s team for really being able to keep it pretty loose in there all season through some pretty rough times but I think with Bagwell back, even in his new role, we may see somewhat of a return to that old school camaraderie. Something this team desperately needs and has desperately missed.
