Down 3-1, the Express got two in the top of the 6th to tie it up, but gave one right back for a 4-3 loss at New Orleans. They won the first game of the four-game series, but dropped the next three. Andy Van Hekken threw 5IP, 7H/3ER, 7K:0BB for the start, and Yorman Bazardo gave up two hits, three walks, and the go-ahead run for the loss. The Express only got one extra-base hit on Oswaldo Navarro's double, but got two hits each from Navarro, Chris Johnson, and Drew Locke. Bogusevic, Johnson, and Bourgeois had the RBI.

The Hooks flat-out gave it away, turning a 4-1 lead against San Antonio to a 5-4 loss after a 4-run eighth inning helped by T.J. Steele's lost fly ball. Doug Arguello threw 5IP, 3H/0ER, 4K:3BB but was tossed after arguing balls and strikes - as a hitter. The bullpen of Villar, Payano, Peguero, and Walker then combined for 4IP, 6H/5ER, 4K:7BB, meaning the Hooks pitching staff walked ten yesterday. The Hooks got multi-hit games from Jack Shuck (3x5), German Duran (2x4) and Lou Santangelo (2x4), while Koby Clemens hit his 16th homer and walked twice.

After letting Lake Elsinore tie the game up at 2-2 in the top of the 5th, the JetHawks took two right back and rode it out for a 5-3 win. Dallas Keuchel threw 7.1IP, 5H/2ER, 6K:1BB for his 2nd win of the season. David Berner gave up 1s (1H/1ER, 1K:1BB, 1HR) in 1.2IP and got his 8th save. Two hits each from Albert Cartwright and Raul Contreras, with Cartwright getting a triple, and Lee Cruz and David Flores adding doubles. Cruz and Flores were each 1x3 with 2RBI.
