In an Austin American-Statesman article on Berkman we learn the following:
-Berkman's knee is sore:
"Feels sore, but that's to be expected. It's the first time I've played in five weeks, so I wouldn't expect it to feel perfect. But I was pleased with the way everything went. I'm looking forward to getting back to Houston."
-Ricky Bennett is very happy:
"I'm hoping that his presence in our lineup in Houston will have the same effect. That's what Lance does for you. He energizes a lineup because of his presence. We want him in the lineup. I was excited about what I was seeing and I think he'll be ready to go on Tuesday."
On Hardball Talk we get a glimpse at what Berkman told Mills following Sunday's game:
"You can run me out there for about 10 or 15 games and see what happens. I wouldn't say it's completely behind me, but I would say it's good enough to get out there and play. I hadn't played a game in five weeks, so obviously not just my knee, but every part of me is kind of sore, just because I hadn't been in game action. I anticipate being in the lineup on Tuesday and not coming out of it until the end of the year."
