Alyson Footer is reporting that Yorman Bazardo has been reinstated from the DL, and has been outrighted to Round Rock.
Now, since he has been outrighted to Triple-A before, he can reject the assignment and become a free agent. Since he was outrighted to Round Rock, this also tells us that he cleared waivers. So he can go to Round Rock, and play out the season, or he can go play on somebody else's Triple-A team.
Ed Wade said this:
"We'd like him to stay in the organization. We like his arm. Unfortunately, he couldn't get things going in Spring Training, and now that he's healthy again, we think he has a chance to help us at some point."
The question is this: Where would you rank Bazardo as far as pitching prospects in the organization?
