New Orleans whooped the dog crap out of the Express 7-1 in NO yesterday. Freshly activated Mark McLemore gave up 6ER in 3IP, while a bullpen of Gervacio, Capellan, and Lumsden held it down to the tune of 1ER in 5IP. Yordany and Saccomanno combined for four of the Express' seven hits.
Corpus Christi
Felix Molina hit a 3-run homer in the 1st as the Hooks took a 1st inning 6-0 lead and defeated Springfield 9-4 last night. Jon Fixler, Collin DeLome and Molina had 3RBI each while Mark Ori went 3x5. Douglass Arguello allowed 2ER in 5IP for the win.
Lancaster
The JetHawks scored the three runs in the 8th/9th to defeat Modesto 4-3 in Lancaster last night. Erick Abreu got the win while Jack Tilghman threw 5IP with 3H/2ER, 6K:0BB. Koby Clemens had a 2-run single, while Jon Gaston hit an RBI double and new signee Gabe Suarez was 2x4.
Lexington
Ross Seaton threw a complete game shutout, striking out six and allowing just three hits as the Legends won 5-0. Brian Pellegrini hit a 3-run shot in the first and Ebert Rosario was 2x4, kind of making up for committing his 20th error of the season.
