Astros stay within slot recommendations, often overdrafting in Round 1. Last year's top pick, catcher Jason Castro from Stanford, is off to a nice start in 2009, but C Max Sapp, P Brian Bogusevic and OF Eli Iorg haven't fared well as Houston first-round picks.
