Brian Moehler is headed to the DL, and Alberto Arias has been called up.
This worked out fairly well for Fulchino and Arias, who can now retire their voodoo dolls. Both had a decent chance of making the Big Time Club out of Spring Training, but, because the rotation and bullpen were set, went to The Rock. Now the rotation is not set. Nor is the bullpen.
Voila: Fulchino and Arias, four days apart.
As you recall, Moehler was to start vs. Volquez and the Reds on Sunday. Sampson has popped in for the occasional spot-start. I imagine Fulchino may do the same. Stay tuned...
