But we shall see thee soon. The Astros optioned Alberto Arias back to Round Rock to clear space for Paulino's spot start tomorrow. Arias will start Monday night against Iowa.
How do I know this? Hear it from the man himself:
“I’m going to pitch Monday against Iowa. Paulino is going to pitch tomorrow, so they need to option somebody to Triple-A. I was the candidate. I’m grateful they gave me the chance to come up, and I know I’ll be back soon.”
Paulino say:
“Nothing different from spring training. I’m just more ready, more ready to pitch. My pitches are working great now. Everything’s working well now. That’s all that matters to me.”
I certainly hope so after a Spring in which Paulino gave up seven earned. That said, in his two starts at The Rock, Paulino is 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA / 1.00 WHIP, 12IP, 7H, 1ER, 12K:5BB
I guess we'll find out tomorrow...
