Interesting article in the Denver Post from December 15 saying the new rage on the University of Colorado campus is to pop what are becoming known as "scholastic steroids," or Adderall and other drugs used to help treat ADD/ADHD.
Well, isn't that interesting? Because this article in the Houston Chronicle (and numerous other news sources) says MLB gave exemptions for 8% of Major League players to take drugs treating...yeah, ADHD.
8% of Major Leaguers. That's about 70 current players. Well done, MLB, way to restore the public's trust from the evil of the likes of Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Mark McGwire. Thank you.
